Security Engineer Infrastructure (m/w/d) - IT-Security, IT

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and continuously optimize security measures within our IT infrastructure (Active Directory, Servers/Clients, Microsoft, Linux, Network, and Datacenter systems).
• Analyze and process security-relevant incidents, including documentation and initiation of appropriate countermeasures.
• Participate in the implementation of audit and penetration test measures according to central IT security guidelines.
• Operate, configure, and further develop modern security solutions, e.g., Privileged Access Management (PAM), Enterprise Access Management (EAM), and audit/monitoring tools like PingCastle or BloodHound.
• Advise and collaborate closely with IT infrastructure teams on security-critical changes, projects, and architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in system administration with a strong focus on IT security.
• In-depth understanding of complex IT infrastructures and their security-relevant interactions (operating systems, network, identities).
• Experience in the integration and operation of security technologies.
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style with high communication skills in collaboration with IT teams and external partners.
• Completed degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification.
• Very good German and good English skills.
• Driver's license class B and willingness to travel to our locations.
