Security Engineer Infrastruktur & Plattformen (m/w/d) - J27228

Overview

You will play a central role in protecting complex IT infrastructures and shaping security solutions with a real impact on operations. In this versatile position, you will work on the further development of security measures and support the introduction of modern platforms. You will benefit from short decision-making processes, personal development, and a technical environment with a focus on quality. Technically, you will work with security and network platforms such as firewalls, SIEM tools, and mail and web security solutions, complemented by cloud security concepts.

Your Tasks

• Analyze existing security measures and initiate optimizations for infrastructure and platforms
• Identify security-relevant assets, threats, and risks and formulate practical protection goals from them
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedural descriptions, and documentation
• Support the operation and implementation of an information security management system
• Accompany security reviews, SIEM evaluations, and incident response activities
• Train colleagues on data protection and information security
• Coordinate external service providers for technical implementation tasks

Your Profile

• Several years of practical experience in the IT security environment, ideally with a focus on infrastructure
• Sound knowledge of perimeter security, mail, and web protection
• Familiarity with security standards such as ISO 27001 and IT-Grundschutz
• Strong network knowledge and experience with monitoring or SIEM solutions
• Conceptual strength, structured working methods, and problem-solving skills
• Confident communication in German and good English skills
