Your New Tasks
- Administration and operation of the vulnerability management tool Tenable.SC (multi-tenant environment)
- Planning, implementation, and support of Tenable.SC installations for customers
- Technical point of contact for customers regarding vulnerability management
- Execution and monitoring of regular vulnerability scans
- Analysis and evaluation of identified vulnerabilities based on current threat landscapes, CVSS, etc.
- Prioritization and categorization of vulnerabilities
- Derivation of recommendations for action for customers (risk assessment/measure proposals)
- Creation and presentation of reports and reporting for customers
- Support in resolving vulnerabilities (remediation support)
- Support in the development and improvement of vulnerability management processes
- Collaboration with internal teams and external contacts (IT, Security, Incident Response, etc.)
- Participation in customer appointments, remote and possibly on-site
- Documentation of activities and measures in the ticket system
What You Bring
- Completed degree in Computer Science, IT Security, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification, e.g., relevant vocational training with corresponding professional experience
- Practical experience with vulnerability management tools, ideally Tenable.SC, e.g., through administration of similar security products
- Experience in operating and administering IT systems (Windows, Linux, network components), e.g., as a system administrator or IT security employee
- Knowledge in the area of network security, IT infrastructures, and typical vulnerability scenarios
- Experience in evaluating and prioritizing vulnerabilities (e.g., evaluation according to CVSS), e.g., through activities in penetration testing or security monitoring
- Ideally, experience in advising customers in the area of IT security
- Ability to present technical issues understandably and target-group-oriented
- Good German and English skills, written and spoken
- Strong team and communication skills
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
