Our client, with approximately 10,000 employees (m/f/d), operates in the world of digitalization and provides important solution approaches for various corporate groups worldwide. Support the team in Nuremberg as an experienced Security Engineer (m/f/d) Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Introduction and operation of the Palo Alto Prisma Cloud CNAPP solution
• Automation of processes and development of self-services around the CNAPP solution
• Organization or execution of security analyses, including threat analyses, data protection and information security checks, manual or automated penetration tests, and vulnerability analyses of third-party components used; evaluation of results and planning of measures for implementation against identified vulnerabilities; documentation of analyses, results, and measures
• Selection of security tools or security solutions (including POCs) derived from the corporate strategy, governance requirements, or in response to technological security trends that enhance cloud security; support and execution of the commissioning of security tools
• Continuous monitoring of compliance with current IT security requirements in the area of responsibility; initiation, planning, implementation, and verification of the timely implementation of corresponding measures

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science or training as an IT specialist for system integration with professional experience or comparable skills
• Experience in the operation and administration of the Palo Alto Prisma Cloud platform in multi-cloud and/or hybrid environments
• Relevant professional experience in IT security as well as sound security expertise in the areas of cloud security, identity security, threat detection, and incident response
• Experience in automation and scripting of cloud infrastructures (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, YAML/JSON) is an advantage
• Knowledge in the setup, operation, and security of modern cloud platforms (Kubernetes, Container Security, etc.)
• Very good German language skills, critical thinking, ability for threat modeling, as well as communication and cooperation skills

The role is performed entirely on-site in a modern work environment with direct team interaction – mobile working is not planned for this project.
