Security Engineer Penetration Testing (m/w/d) - J37700

Overview

You will enter a growing IT security environment where you will practically participate in challenging security projects. You will have space for professional development, learning paths, and hands-on experience in penetration testing and security analysis. Your contribution will strengthen the IT security of clients from various industries and create measurable added value. Technologically, you will work with security methods and platforms such as OWASP, BSI testing procedures, and Windows and Linux environments.

Your Tasks

• Plan and conduct penetration tests and web-based security tests according to established testing procedures
• Analyze and evaluate vulnerabilities and attack vectors such as SQL injection, XSS, or CSRF
• Create findings including risk assessment, prioritization, and recommended actions
• Document and present investigation results for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Advise clients on secure operating and architectural decisions and technical hardening measures
• Support the further development of internal test processes and test environments
• Coordinate with internal interfaces from technology, operations, and quality

Your Profile

• Completed IT training or a relevant degree or comparable practical experience
• Experience with penetration tests, vulnerability analyses, and security-related documentation
• Good knowledge of network architectures as well as Windows and Linux environments
• Familiarity with software development and administration processes
• Independent, structured way of working and enjoyment of consultative communication with clients
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel as needed
