Security Operation Analyst

Job Summary

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, flexible, and proactive Security Operations Analyst (Entry-Level) to join our IT/security operations team. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to launch their career in IT or cybersecurity. You’ll be responsible for monitoring and responding to system and security alerts generated from a range of tools, including vulnerability scanners, antivirus/antimalware platforms, server health monitors, and network monitoring systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor incoming alerts and logs from vulnerability management tools, endpoint security systems (AV/AM), server performance tools, and network monitoring platforms.
• Investigate and triage alerts to determine severity, validity, and next steps.
• Follow predefined standard operating procedures (SOPs) to address or escalate alerts.
• Log, document, and track issues and resolutions in ticketing or reporting systems.
• Collaborate with other IT and security staff to support remediation efforts.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of internal documentation and knowledge base articles.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (or in progress / recently graduated).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures with precision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced technical environment.

Compensation

• Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
