Semiconductor Engineer

Our client is a global leader in RFID wireless tag technology, renowned for pioneering next generation solutions used worldwide. They are currently seeking a talented Semiconductor Engineer to join their growing team.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture development and overall IC specification design for RFID tag IC chips (analog/digital mixed-signal), including defining required IC functions.
• Manage outsourced logic design activities for RFID tag IC chips.
• Conduct testing and evaluation of IC chips, including chip level performance assessment and communication verification with RFID readers.
• Drive IC chip commercialisation projects, collaborating with semiconductor development and manufacturing partners (Front-end and Back-end processing companies).
• Liaise closely with the Product Quality Control Department to ensure performance and quality standards.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and experience:

Essential:

• Background in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Computer Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
• Experience in analog/digital mixed-signal IC design and development.
• Experience managing outsourced logic IC design projects.
• Hands-on experience in testing and evaluating IC chips, including preparation of evaluation reports.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with hardware development teams.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of RFID technology, particularly RFID tag products.
• Experience with IC tag antenna or RFID IC–based tag development.
