(Senior) 3D Plant Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Layout planning and cross-site coordination of steel plant facilities (internal, with customers, subcontractors, and consortium partners)
• Assisting with layout creation for integrated steelworks
• Scheduling of main and auxiliary plants considering logistical requirements
• Planning and coordination of preliminary projects
• Assisting with the creation of overall 3D models
• Assisting with standardization programs (modularization of steel plant facilities)
• Planning and coordination of buildings
• Planning and coordination of main cable routes & pipe racks
• Creating layout drawings and functional studies
• Creating foundation and steel structure layout plans
• Creating documentation
• Participating in the technical order processing of equipment
• On-site support during assembly and commissioning

Requirements

• University of Applied Sciences (FH) or Technical College (HTL) degree, preferably in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Plant Engineering
• Communication skills in English
• Team player
• Analytical thinking
• Willingness for international assignments (business trips)
• At least 5 years of professional experience desired
• Knowledge of steel plant and/or environmental technology desired but not mandatory
• CAD experience
• Willingness to learn and continuously expand know-how
