Senior 5G Solutions Engineer

Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Senior 5G Solutions Engineer to play a key role in the development and deployment of advanced 5G network solutions. This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a balance of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing cutting-edge 5G technologies, working closely with engineering, product, and operational teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities: Design and architect innovative 5G network solutions, including RAN, Core, and transport network elements. Develop technical specifications, integration plans, and testing methodologies for 5G deployments. Evaluate and integrate new technologies and vendor solutions to enhance 5G network capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless interoperability and performance of 5G systems. Conduct performance analysis, optimization, and troubleshooting of 5G networks. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design documents, test reports, and user guides. Stay abreast of the latest 5G standards, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Present technical findings and solutions to internal stakeholders and external partners. Ensure solutions meet security, reliability, and scalability requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, with a strong focus on 5G technologies. Deep understanding of 5G NR, NSA/SA architecture, network slicing, and MEC. Experience with relevant protocols such as TCP/IP, SIP, GTP, Diameter. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation is a plus. Familiarity with cloud-native principles and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating both remotely and on-site. Experience with test equipment and network analysis tools.
