Our client is seeking a high-achieving Senior Account Executive to drive revenue growth by selling innovative B2B solutions to prospective clients. Based in Umuahia, Abia, NG , this role requires a proven sales professional with exceptional negotiation skills, a deep understanding of client needs, and a track record of exceeding sales targets. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead qualification to closing deals and nurturing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in B2B sales, preferably within the technology or services sector.
Responsibilities
- Managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead qualification to closing deals and nurturing client relationships.
- Developing and executing strategic sales plans, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key decision-makers, presenting product/service value propositions effectively, and negotiating contracts.
- Collaborating closely with the marketing team to generate qualified leads and with the customer success team to ensure client satisfaction post-sale.
- Strong market knowledge and the ability to articulate complex solutions in a clear and concise manner are essential.
- Pipeline management and accurate forecasting are critical components of this role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in B2B sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Experience in consultative selling and solution selling.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales methodologies.
- Strong understanding of the B2B market and client needs.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet clients.
- Experience in the local Umuahia business landscape is an advantage.
