Our client is seeking a results-driven and highly motivated Senior Account Executive to join their expanding sales team. This is a fully remote position, offering a unique opportunity to leverage your sales expertise in the cloud solutions sector from anywhere in South Africa. You will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of key enterprise accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and closing complex sales cycles. Your deep understanding of cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and your ability to articulate value propositions to C-level executives will be critical to your success. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can build strong relationships with clients, understand their business challenges, and position our cloud solutions as transformative enablers. This role requires exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, as well as a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas in a competitive market. As a remote employee, you will be expected to manage your time effectively, maintain a high level of productivity, and collaborate seamlessly with internal teams, including pre-sales engineers, customer success managers, and marketing. You will leverage CRM tools to manage your pipeline, track progress, and forecast sales accurately. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with a passion for technology and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer value. You will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and expanding market share for our innovative cloud offerings. This role involves full lifecycle sales management, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing. You will develop account strategies, build executive relationships, and orchestrate internal resources to ensure client success.

Key Responsibilities: Drive revenue growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities within enterprise accounts. Manage and expand existing client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention. Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet and exceed sales targets. Effectively demonstrate the value and benefits of our cloud solutions to prospective clients. Conduct compelling presentations and product demonstrations to C-level executives and key stakeholders. Negotiate complex contracts and agreements. Collaborate with sales engineers and other internal teams to develop customized solutions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging cloud technologies. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus. Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in enterprise software sales, with a focus on cloud solutions. Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas. In-depth knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP). Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to build rapport and establish trust with senior-level executives. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools. Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to thrive in a remote work environment. Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events, if required.
