Overview:

Ketchum is excited to add a Senior Account Executive to our North America Issues/Crisis Management Team!

About the Job:

• Gain a deep understanding of clients' businesses and their competitive landscapes.
• Contribute actively to the creation of account plans and innovative ideas.
• Apply your knowledge of media monitoring processes and efficiently assess insights on a daily basis.
• Produce a comprehensive range of written materials, including standby statements, Q&A documents, issue analyses, position papers, and client correspondence.
• Independently manage crisis preparedness initiatives.
• Advise clients on fundamental issues management and crisis response strategies.
• Engage in regular client communication, requesting senior guidance for complex issues as necessary.
• Nurture client-agency partnerships to foster trust and establish yourself as a valuable resource.
• Encourage teamwork by involving junior staff members in projects.
• Oversee budget management and client billing processes effectively.
• Collaborate with financial managers to review financial reports and project budgets.
• Understand various research methodologies and coordinate the implementation of research initiatives.
• Assist senior management in crafting proposals and gathering materials for new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Three to five years of experience in a public relations agency or relevant position.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000, influenced by education, years of experience, skills, and geographic market data.
