About the role

Position Overview

Are you a driven professional with a passion for cultivating strong relationships? Do you thrive in the dynamic world of complex enterprise-level sales? As a Senior Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth within Autodesk's Construction business, managing approximately 40 key accounts. This role comes with a specific sales quota, and your performance will be measured by your achievements in up-selling, add-on sales, and cross-selling. You will be fully remote and reporting to the Mid Market Sales Manager.

In this position, you will be seen as a trusted advisor to your customers, helping them enhance their operations by implementing innovative solutions. You’ll have the chance to contribute to Autodesk's expanding presence in the construction industry and leverage technology to create significant impacts.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee your portfolio of accounts, focusing on selling new products and expanding current renewals to achieve quarterly goals.
  • Develop account strategies and manage the sales cycle for both new sales and renewals effectively.
  • Generate new opportunities weekly to maintain a robust pipeline that aligns with your quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Act as an exemplary representative of Autodesk by conducting client presentations, fostering advisor relationships, and participating in industry events.
  • Embrace a collaborative team approach, working closely with Business Development Representatives, Technical Solutions Executives, Customer Success Managers, channel partners, and others.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts to inform business strategy.
  • Lead strategic account planning sessions, collaborating with your extended account team for optimal results.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience in enterprise software sales, particularly within the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or Manufacturing sectors.
  • Ability to engage and establish relationships with C-level executives.
  • Strong closing and negotiation skills that drive sales success.

Salary Transparency

Our competitive compensation package includes a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $208,100 to $373,010 for U.S.-based sales roles, combining base salary and commission targets. Actual offers will depend on experience and location. Additional compensation may include annual bonuses, sales commissions, stock options, and a full range of benefits.
