About the role
Our client, a rapidly growing technology firm, is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Senior Account Executive to join their expanding sales team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in Nigeria. You will be responsible for driving new business acquisition, managing key client relationships, and exceeding ambitious sales targets within the technology sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of technology solutions and a proven ability to close complex deals. You will engage with prospective clients, understand their business challenges, and present tailored solutions that deliver significant value. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic selling skills.
Responsibilities: Identify and prospect potential clients within target markets through various channels. Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline of qualified leads. Conduct in-depth discovery calls and needs assessments to understand client business challenges and objectives. Present compelling demonstrations of our client's technology solutions, highlighting key benefits and ROI. Negotiate contract terms and pricing to close deals effectively. Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations. Collaborate with pre-sales engineers and solution architects to develop customized proposals. Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and product knowledge. Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to sales leadership. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in B2B technology sales, preferably in SaaS or enterprise software. Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. Excellent understanding of technology solutions and their business applications. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to build rapport and credibility with C-level executives. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment. Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools. Must be able to work remotely from Maiduguri, Borno, NG or any other location in Nigeria.
