About the role

Job Summary:

One of the main obligations of the Senior Account Representative is to explore and sell loan/lease and turn-key bank loan options to both new prospects and current clients in the private and public middle market domain. Through direct sales efforts geared towards middle market enterprises, whether privately held or publicly listed, in sectors like manufacturing, wholesaling, distribution, and services, the Senior Account Executive drives business development.

Essential Functions:

  • Embark on identifying fresh business prospects, encompassing current clients and actively searching for new leads via cold calling and face-to-face encounters
  • Set up individual consultations with prospects to go over Northwest's product portfolio, pricing structure, and financing agreement terms
  • Reach and go beyond volume expectations by adeptly pinpointing, validating, and executing equipment financing deals in the assigned zone through direct means
  • Applying industry acumen, analytical skills, product expertise, and communication proficiency to identify, foster, activate, and nurture customer relationships
  • Construct, organize, propose, and wrap up sustainable finance agreements
  • Manage customer relationships by vigilantly monitoring and proactively adjusting to changes in market dynamics and competitive environments
  • Offer help to the credit function and employees as required
  • Excel proficiency and familiarity with a CRM program are advantageous
  • Uphold compliance with the standards outlined by Northwest and ensure alignment with Federal and State regulations
  • Familiarize yourself with computer applications essential for the department, including Microsoft Office Software, to streamline processes and enhance technological capabilities
  • Participate in a team dynamic
  • Make use of the available on-site machinery for operational needs

Qualifications:

  • A business, finance, or closely related bachelor's program is essential
  • The desired candidate will have accumulated five to six years of marketing and sales experience, with a preference for prior employment in a commercial finance company or bank
  • Skilled in building and maintaining enduring associations with senior managers in middle market companies
  • A self-sufficient and persevering marketing specialist with a spirited entrepreneurial nature and considerable familiarity with commencing, vetting, and sealing different financing arrangements.
  • Track record of success in corporate financial sales, meeting volume targets and forging solid connections with clients
  • The skill to consistently identify opportunities and build relationships with the candidate's current set of contacts while also expanding their customer base is vital
