Senior Accountant - 3 days remote

A Center City Philadelphia based firm is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of three days remote and two onsite per week, along with a highly competitive compensation and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform monthly close activities including preparation and review of complex journal entries and account reconciliations
• Create, maintain, and review accrual and amortization schedules related to transaction-based revenue and expenses
• Review and research existing and newly executed engagements and related documentation; reconcile contractual terms to expected revenue; and ensure appropriate audit support is obtained and retained.
• Prepare and issue client invoices in accordance with engagement terms and revenue recognition requirements
• Review SEC filings of securities held to confirm no material transactions occurred during the reporting period
• Partner with Capital Markets, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure proper custody of securities and identification of any restrictions on shares
• Support audit requests and provide documentation for internal and external stakeholders as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Prior corporate accounting experience
