Cordia Resources is excited to announce an opening for a Senior Accountant / Assistant Controller role at a dynamic consulting firm. This temp-to-hire position is crucial for supporting our month-end close processes, financial reporting, and operational accounting, with a particular emphasis on leveraging Sage Intacct. We are looking for candidates with strong technical accounting skills, direct system experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving professional services environment.

Recent, hands-on experience with Sage Intacct is a must!

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and oversee the month-end and year-end close activities.
• Conduct and verify account reconciliations, addressing any discrepancies.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and reporting standards.
• Review accounts payable transactions to ensure precision and appropriate coding.
• Manage, reconcile, and monitor intercompany transactions.
• Prepare variance analysis and deliver insights to leadership.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
• Support external audits and adeptly respond to auditor inquiries.
• Engage with Finance, Operations, and leadership teams in a collaborative manner.
• Utilize and optimize financial systems including Sage Intacct, Concur, and Salesforce.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Robust, recent experience with Sage Intacct (required).
• 5+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of GAAP and financial controls.
• Hands-on engagement with month-end close procedures and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel proficiency and financial analysis skills.
• Familiarity with Concur and Salesforce is a plus.
• Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a deadline-oriented environment.
