Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Head of the Paris Shared Services Centre (which covers the accounts for France, Belgium, Spain, Italy and Switzerland), you will be required to carry out or assist with the following tasks within your remit:

• Maintaining accounts and providing supporting documentation to auditors
• Preparing quarterly and annual financial statements
• Preparing the company's tax returns and notes to the financial statements
• Preparing and submitting CET, VAT, DES, TVS, C3S and other tax returns
• Compiling surveys for INSEE, the Banque de France, training purposes, etc.
• Checking and approving payments (suppliers, expense claims, etc.)
• Preparing cash flow forecasts and summaries of cash inflows and outflows

Qualifications

• You have a very good knowledge of French accounting standards and have demonstrated your ability to hold a comparable position.
• You are proficient in IT tools such as ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Education

• With a higher accounting qualification such as a DCG, you have at least 5 years' professional experience in a similar role within a company.
