Senior Accountant*

Your Role in the Team

For our Risk & Finance department, we are looking for an experienced individual to take on a central role in financial reporting and regulatory compliance. You will be part of a closely integrated team within Controlling & Accounting and will significantly contribute to the quality and timeliness of our financial statements.

In your role, you will be responsible for annual financial statements according to HGB and RechKredV, as well as regulatory reports via BAIS. You will independently handle complex accounting topics, ensure the operational day-to-day business, and actively participate in projects and the further development of our processes and systems.

This position offers you a challenging environment with high technical depth, scope for action, and direct influence on the bank's central financial processes.

What Tasks Await You?

• Responsibility for the preparation of annual financial statements according to HGB and RechKredV (Bank & Group)
• Preparation and timely submission of regulatory reports (FinRep, Bista, Austa) via BAIS
• Independent processing of complex accounting issues
• Ensuring smooth day-to-day business, including reconciliation of securities holdings
• Participation in cross-departmental projects and optimization and further development of accounting systems

Who Are We Looking For?

• Commercial apprenticeship with further training (e.g., certified accountant/auditor) or comparable experience
• Several years of experience in HGB accounting and sound knowledge of RechKredV
• Experience in group accounting and closing processes
• Practical experience with BAIS and very good Excel skills, ideally supplemented by SQL/BI
• Structured, analytical approach and very good German and English skills
