This is a highly visible, hands‑on role that offers the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of accounting, from transactional work to month‑end close and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee general ledger activity, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Lead and support month‑end and year‑end close processes
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments
  • Perform staff accounting duties such as bank reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal reporting
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records
  • Support external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting function
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of full‑cycle accounting
  • Hands‑on experience with AP/AR and general ledger accounting
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
