About Our Client

Our client is an internationally active corporate group in the industrial-technical environment with complex group structures. In the centrally organized Finance team, the financial statements of the companies are managed and group-wide reporting is ensured.

Your Role

In your role, you will independently manage monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB, participate in IFRS reporting, and contribute to selected projects for the further development/digitalization of processes and systems. Depending on your experience, you will take over the representation of the team lead in selected areas.

Your Responsibilities

• Independent management of several companies within the group
• Balance sheet assessment of complex business transactions according to HGB and IFRS, especially provisions, financial investments, and financial instruments
• Preparation of financial statements according to HGB and preparation of IFRS reporting packages in the group context
• Ensuring compliance with group-wide accounting and reporting standards
• Participation in projects for process optimization and digitalization
• Management and further development of system-related processes in accounting
• Close coordination with internal departments and international units
• Representation of the team lead in selected areas

Your Profile

• Business degree with a focus on finance and accounting or a commercial apprenticeship with further training as a certified accountant (IHK)
• Extensive professional experience in financial accounting/auditing in an internationally operating company, ideally with a group structure
• Sound knowledge of accounting/balance sheet preparation according to HGB, ideally good IFRS knowledge
• Confident use of a common ERP system
• Very good German and good English skills
• Structured and self-reliant way of working with attention to detail
• Ability to prepare and coordinate complex issues in an understandable way
