In this position, you will take on a central role between operational accounting, reporting, and process optimization – with an increasing focus on data, transparency, and company-wide collaboration.

Your Responsibilities

Actively shape finance processes

You analyze and optimize existing financial processes (e.g., in the purchase-to-pay environment) and drive their further development with regard to efficiency, quality, and automation.

Make numbers transparent

You create analyses and reports for internal stakeholders and help to present financial contexts in an understandable and decision-making way.

Manage accounting topics with an overview

You ensure a clean representation of ongoing business transactions and also keep an eye on related topics such as fixed assets or cash flows.

Contribute to closing processes

You participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and contribute your experience in a targeted manner.

Evaluate contracts & financial implications

You review economic agreements from a finance perspective and ensure their correct representation in the systems.

Drive digitalization

You support initiatives related to automation, data quality, and system usage and contribute your own ideas.

Your Profile

• Business administration background with a focus on Finance / Accounting / Controlling or commercial training with further education (e.g., certified accountant).
• Several years of experience in the accounting environment, preferably with insight into closing processes.
• Proficient in HGB and basic understanding of tax-related issues.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and proficiency in MS Office.
• Interest in the connections behind the numbers, not just in the booking itself.
• Structured, independent way of working and a desire to think things through.
• Very good German language skills.
