This is a contract through October 2026 (covering maternity leave)

Hours: Monday-Friday 8AM - 5PM EST

What’s a typical day as Senior Accountant?

You’ll be:

• Facilitating monthly closeout by calculating and recording journal entries related to P&L expense lines, including promotional programs, buybacks, and service level penalties.
• Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and roll-forwards for Farm & Hardware customers, tracking accrual balances.
• Validating and resolving customer deductions for pricing, markdowns, and rebates while collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Finance teams to resolve disputes.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA is a plus.
• Have a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in auditing, accounting, or controllership roles.
• Possess advanced MS Excel skills and familiarity with SAP; experience with big data applications like Alteryx is highly preferred.
