Position Overview

Swan Medico is seeking a highly organized and diligent Senior Accountant to manage financial operations and ensure accurate financial tracking across local and international transactions. The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Global Head of Finance and play a key role in maintaining financial transparency, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Tasks

• Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations across multiple bank accounts and currencies.

• Expenses: Ensure proper documentation and receipts for all company expenses are attached and connected to bookings.

• Debitor: Track and reconcile every month customer payments received. We are a prepayment company. All customer issues must be reported to the CEO and Global Head of Finance.

• Supplier payments: Manage and monitor currency conversions from Nigerian Naira to international currencies where applicable.

• International transfers: Track and verify payments made from Nigeria to international bank accounts. Transfer tracking.

• Records: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company financial policies.

• Stock: Stock control registered and counted. Deviations to be registered and reported to CEO and GHF

• Support: Support the Global Head of Finance with financial reporting and documentation. Assist in improving financial processes and internal controls.

• Personal development: Discuss your development plan and timely follow up

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Previous experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably from Big Four.

• Experience working with ERP systems such as (please specify years of experience): Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP or similar ERP systems

• Strong understanding of bank reconciliation, expense management, international payments, and stock keeping.

• Experience working with multi-currency transactions is an advantage.
