Senior Accountant - Law Firm

An international business law firm is seeking an Experienced Accountant to join its centrally located Paris office. You have a solid experience in accounting, tax and social compliance within an international partnership environment, such as a law firm, audit firm, or professional services organisation. As a key member of a seven-person Finance team, you will report directly to the Finance Director while working closely with partners and international finance teams across Europe. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring the integrity of accounting operations, overseeing partnership tax matters, and maintaining full compliance with French and international standards within a structured and demanding environment. Responsibilities

Manage partner tax calculations, annual filings and related tax matters Supervise general accounting and accounts payable activities Oversee monthly and annual closings under IFRS and French GAAP, and liaise with auditors Handle social declarations and URSSAF matters in coordination with external advisors Ensure compliance with accounting, tax and internal policies

Profile

Fluent French and English Experience in accounting and tax within professional services (law firm, audit, consulting, etc.) Solid technical knowledge of IFRS and French GAAP Advanced Excel skills

Salary & Benefits

Salary from €62,000 per annum, depending on experience Discretionary annual bonus linked to individual performance 25 days annual leave + birthday day off + 2 additional days during the Christmas period 12 RTT days per year (Cadre status) Meal vouchers and comprehensive private health insurance Hybrid working model: 2 remote days per week after 6 months
