Senior Accountant (m/w/d)

About Us

Our long-standing partner company in the manufacturing industry is currently seeking support as a Senior Accountant (m/f/d) in Waldbröl.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing financial accounting for individual companies
• Administration and maintenance of fixed asset accounting
• Independent preparation of monthly closing statements
• Processing of payment transactions and reconciliation of accounts
• Participation in intercompany reconciliations within the corporate group
• Preparation of individual and consolidated financial statements of the group
• Support in the formation of statutory provisions and accruals
• Preparation of VAT advance returns and EC sales lists
• Support for sales in tax-related matters
• Accompanying and supporting tax audits
• Collaboration within the team and with other departments

Profile

• Completed commercial apprenticeship, e.g., as a tax assistant, ideally with further training as a certified accountant
• Professional experience in accounting or a similar position
• Reliable, committed, and team-oriented way of working with a high level of dedication
• Good communication, consulting, and problem-solving skills
• Confident use of MS Office programs
