About the Role

To strengthen the finance department, a Senior Accountant (m/f/d) is sought for the earliest possible start date.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB in cooperation with external tax advisors
• Prospective development of financial statement preparation in-house, including the phasing out of external structures
• Optimization and digitalization of workflows in accounting
• Review and reconciliation of accounts to ensure correct booking processes
• Development of internal booking guidelines
• Contact person for auditors, tax advisors, and authorities
• Coordination and reconciliation of accounting topics with internal specialist departments
• Optimization and further development of financial processes and participation in cross-departmental projects

Profile

• Completed commercial apprenticeship with further training as a finance or balance sheet accountant (m/f/d) or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in general ledger accounting
• Sound knowledge of accounting according to HGB
• Fluent German language skills and ideally good English skills
• Structured, responsible, and independent way of working
• Team orientation and hands-on mentality in a dynamic environment
• Interest in contributing own ideas
