About the Role

You will play a key role in supporting the integrity of financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to ongoing process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support full-cycle general ledger accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Apply technical accounting guidance across areas such as leases, revenue recognition, and other complex transactions
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory frameworks
- Support audit processes, including external, internal, and compliance-related reviews
- Manage and improve expense reporting processes and controls
- Assist with system enhancements and process improvement initiatives
- Conduct financial analysis and account research to resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support accurate and efficient financial operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or related field with CPA eligibility)
- 4-8 years of accounting experience (public accounting required)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (e.g., ASC 842, ASC 606)
- Experience with full lifecycle accounting processes
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in government contracting environments is a plus
- Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP systems is a plus
