About the Role

You will play a key role in supporting the integrity of financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to ongoing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle general ledger accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Apply technical accounting guidance across areas such as leases, revenue recognition, and other complex transactions
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory frameworks
• Support audit processes, including external, internal, and compliance-related reviews
• Manage and improve expense reporting processes and controls
• Assist with system enhancements and process improvement initiatives
• Conduct financial analysis and account research to resolve discrepancies
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support accurate and efficient financial operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or related field with CPA eligibility)
• 4-8 years of accounting experience (public accounting required)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge (e.g., ASC 842, ASC 606)
• Experience with full lifecycle accounting processes
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in government contracting environments is a plus
• Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP systems is a plus
