Senior Accountant- US Accounting

As a Senior Accountant supporting U.S. small business clients, you will play a crucial role in managing client relationships, providing accounting and financial insights, and ensuring the accurate completion of client work. Your responsibilities will include performing bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online, preparing U.S. tax returns, running payroll through Gusto or ADP, analyzing financial data, and preparing monthly financial reports. Additionally, you will be expected to supervise junior accountants, conduct monthly financial review calls with clients, and communicate insights effectively.

Key Responsibilities: - Manage accounting and bookkeeping for multiple U.S. small business clients - Maintain and review client books in QuickBooks Online - Prepare U.S. individual and small business tax returns - Run payroll using Gusto or ADP - Review and finalize monthly financial statements - Analyze financial results and provide insights to clients - Conduct monthly financial review calls with U.S. clients - Communicate directly with U.S. clients to explain financial reports and tax matters - Supervise junior accountants during the monthly close process - Manage client communication through Canopy and Outlook - Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and high-quality client service

Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA or EA designation preferred - Experience preparing U.S. tax
