Take on a pivotal role as a Senior Accountant in Oakville, focusing on full-cycle accounting and financial compliance. This position is essential for supporting the finance team's growth.

In this position, you will report to the Controller and manage various accounting functions. A CPA or enrollment in the program is required along with at least five years of comprehensive accounting experience. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel in both independent and collaborative problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Manage GL and conduct monthly reconciliation processes
• Oversee weekly payroll posting and related tasks
• Ensure accurate cash account reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements and conduct compliance checks
• Assess cost variances and provide strategic insights

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA required or enrollment in the program preferred
• Minimum 5 years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP is an asset
• Strong communication skills and teamwork capability
