Senior Accountant (w/m/x)

An internationally active industrial company with a stable market position is strengthening its Finance team and is looking for an experienced personality as a Senior Accountant (w/m/x). In this role, you will independently take on accounting tasks and be the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to IFRS, UGB, and HGB
• Execution of accruals and provisions, including the preparation of the monthly provision ledger
• Execution of inventory valuations and foreign currency valuations
• Preparation of external reporting
• Responsibility for fixed asset accounting
• Contact person for local Finance Leads and close collaboration with accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Central interface to auditors
• Participation in the optimization of accounting processes

Requirements

• Completed commercial apprenticeship (e.g., certified accountant exam, degree with a focus on Finance & Accounting, or comparable qualification)
• At least 3–5 years of professional experience in (financial) accounting
• Sound knowledge of IFRS and UGB/HGB
• Very good understanding of financial and accounting processes
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken
• Very good Excel skills
• Experience with SAP FI is an advantage
• Structured, accurate, and independent way of working
• Team-oriented personality with strong communication skills
