About
An internationally active industrial company with a stable market position is strengthening its Finance team and is looking for an experienced personality as a Senior Accountant (w/m/x). In this role, you will independently take on accounting tasks and be the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to IFRS, UGB, and HGB
- Execution of accruals and provisions, including the preparation of the monthly provision ledger
- Execution of inventory valuations and foreign currency valuations
- Preparation of external reporting
- Responsibility for fixed asset accounting
- Contact person for local Finance Leads and close collaboration with accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Central interface to auditors
- Participation in the optimization of accounting processes
Requirements
- Completed commercial apprenticeship (e.g., certified accountant exam, degree with a focus on Finance & Accounting, or comparable qualification)
- At least 3–5 years of professional experience in (financial) accounting
- Sound knowledge of IFRS and UGB/HGB
- Very good understanding of financial and accounting processes
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken
- Very good Excel skills
- Experience with SAP FI is an advantage
- Structured, accurate, and independent way of working
- Team-oriented personality with strong communication skills
