Senior Accounting Manager (Contract Remote)

Responsibilities

• Oversee month end process and support the accounting team in the preparation of the financial statements
• Review journal entries and working papers of the team. Prepare variance analysis explanations. Experience in consolidation is a major asset
• Take a hands-on approach to solving problems - working with operations, diving into system/subledger issues
• Triage decision making - be a leader in driving decision making and driving areas of focus for staff
• Contribute on ad-hoc projects as needed

Qualifications

• CPA designation is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong Excel is a must
• Self starting personality
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• D365 F&O experience is an asset
• Ability to start quickly

Compensation

Pay: $110,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
