Senior Accounting Supervisor: Client Portfolios & Tax

Key responsibilities: • Take responsibility for client’s portfolios • Compilation of Financial Statements • Provisional and Income Tax Calculations • On-the-job training for trainee accountants • Meet monthly deadlines in a timeously manner • Self-motivation, excellent communication with clients and colleagues, teamworking and interpersonal skills • Detail reviews on team’s work performed • Reconciliations of input/output VAT to monthly trial balance. • Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Requirements: • B.Com Degree in Financial accounting • Management experience or relevant managerial experience • Must be able to work under pressure • Knowledge of IFRS or IFRS for SME’s • Must be accurate and attention to detail • MS Office • VAT & Income tax knowledge • Management of client’s portfolios • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English)

Recommended - Not a requirement but will be seen as an advantage: • Completed SAICA articles • Caseware or Draftworx experience • Sage / Xero experience
