We are hiring for a Senior Accounts & Tax Executive to join a fast-growing US CPA firm, offering a fully remote, full-time opportunity to work directly with US clients. This is a high-ownership role suited for professionals who bring strong expertise across US Accounting and Taxation and can independently manage client deliverables end-to-end.
Role Overview
As a Senior Accounts & Tax Executive, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting and tax functions for US-based clients across multiple industries. The role requires a strong understanding of US GAAP, tax compliance, and client management, along with the ability to operate independently in a performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting including bookkeeping, journal entries, and month-end/quarter-end/year-end close
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with US GAAP
- Handle US Taxation including preparation/review of returns (Individual, Corporate, Partnerships as applicable)
- Work on 1099 reporting, payroll accounting, and tax compliance processes
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Act as a primary point of contact for US clients, ensuring timely delivery and query resolution
- Coordinate with internal teams and mentor junior resources where required
- Ensure adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and regulatory compliance
Candidate Profile
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) / Inter CA / CPA / Enrolled Agent (EA)
Experience
- 5-6 years of hands‑on experience in US Accounting and US Taxation
- Prior experience working with a US CPA firm is highly preferred
- Exposure to handling multiple clients across industries
Technical Skills
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and US Tax regulations
- Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks (Desktop & Online) or similar accounting tools
- Proficiency in financial statement preparation and tax filings
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) for client interactions
- High level of ownership and ability to work independently in a remote setup
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving mindset
