As a Senior Associate specializing in AEM Frontend (Application Logic Engineer), you will play a crucial role in our Content Technology group, driving innovation and efficiency to create a seamless web experience for our users. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AEM front-end components, templates, dialogs, and workflows to deliver engaging and responsive web experiences.
- Design and implement user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) for AEM-powered websites and applications, ensuring consistency with brand and accessibility standards.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable front-end code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AEM-specific frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and design concepts into functional AEM components.
- Work with backend developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionality.
- Implement integrations with third-party systems and APIs to enhance site capabilities.
- Participate in technical discussions with team leads, gathering requirements and proposing front-end solutions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including designers, backend developers, and architects to deliver high-quality, scalable AEM solutions.
Qualification Required
- Master's degree OR Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of experience in AEM development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Adobe AEM Sites front-end development, including components, templates, and HTL.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with AEM frameworks such as Sling models and client libraries and how they work in coordination with AEM backend.
- Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers and backend developers in a cross-functional environment.
- Solid understanding of front-end performance optimization and accessibility standards.
- Knowledge of storybook is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across the AEM front-end stack.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to propose scalable front-end solutions.
Additional Details
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js integrated into AEM is beneficial.
- Exposure to SPA Editor and headless AEM implementations.
- Knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud products (Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, etc.) for personalization and analytics.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native deployment strategies.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and advanced caching strategies for front-end performance.
- Adobe AEM certification is a plus.
- Strong communication and documentation skills to bridge technical and design teams.
