Senior Advisor – Strategic Acquisition & Medical Training

About the Role

Heartland Consulting seeks a strategic Senior Advisor to provide high-level advisory and liaison support to DHA MST PMO leadership. You will influence enterprise decisions that shape medical simulation policy and capabilities across the MHS.

Key Responsibilities (aligned with PWS 5.3)

• Act as senior liaison with OSD, Military Services, Congress, and external partners.
• Develop strategic plans, communications strategies, special studies, and GO/SES-level briefings.
• Support TADSS architecture baselining and alignment with DHA's technology modernization and resourcing priorities.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in business, national security, healthcare administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of senior-level acquisition, strategic planning, or policy experience in MHS/DoD training programs.
• Exceptional written/oral communication and senior-leader engagement skills.
• Eligible for CAC.

Preferred Skills

• Deep knowledge of medical simulation lifecycle.
• Prior DHA, military, or congressional support experience.

Location & Travel

• Primarily telework with occasional on-site work in Falls Church, VA or Orlando, FL area.
• Travel: Occasional (10-20%), including potential CONUS/OCONUS for high-level meetings.
