Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and integration of complex aerospace systems, ensuring adherence to performance, safety, and reliability requirements. Perform system-level analysis, including requirements definition, trade studies, architectural design, and interface control. Utilize advanced modeling and simulation tools to predict system behavior and validate designs. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for system verification and validation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers, to ensure seamless system integration. Analyze test data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and resolve technical issues. Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA), and quality management systems. Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and design review materials. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle. Stay abreast of emerging aerospace technologies, materials, and methodologies. Qualifications: Master's degree or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in aerospace systems engineering. Proven track record in designing, developing, and integrating complex aerospace systems. Expertise in system engineering methodologies, including requirements management, architectural design, and V&V processes. Proficiency with aerospace system modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, STK, CAD/CAE software). Strong understanding of aerospace industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory frameworks. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives in a remote environment. Experience with specific aerospace domains such as avionics, propulsion, or flight controls is a significant plus.
