Senior Agile Project Manager (Remote)

Our client, a rapidly expanding technology firm specializing in software development, is seeking an experienced Senior Agile Project Manager to lead critical projects within their fully remote framework. This role demands a leader who can champion Agile methodologies, drive project success from inception to delivery, and foster collaboration among distributed teams. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, all while maintaining high standards of quality and stakeholder satisfaction. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of Agile principles, a proven track record in managing complex software development projects, and exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.). Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget. Manage project scope and changes effectively, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, promoting transparency and continuous improvement. Manage communication with all project stakeholders, including team members, clients, and senior management. Track project progress and provide regular status reports, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues. Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. Mentor and coach junior project managers and team members on Agile principles and project management best practices. Manage vendor relationships and contract deliverables as needed. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in Agile project management, preferably in the software industry. Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or Project Management Professional (PMP) are highly desirable. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and negotiation skills are essential. Given the fully remote nature of this role, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, combined with a high degree of self-motivation, discipline, and the ability to thrive in a virtual team setting, are paramount. You must be adept at managing distributed teams and fostering a strong sense of camaraderie and shared purpose across geographical boundaries.
