For a strategic major project in the Public Sector, we are looking for highly qualified AI specialists (m/f/d) to support research, consulting, and implementation services in the area of operational evaluation and development of innovative AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of AI and Machine Learning solutions
• Conception and realization of prototypes and production-near applications
• Analysis and evaluation of new technologies and research trends in the AI environment
• Setup and optimization of data pipelines and model architectures
• Execution of tests, evaluations, and performance analyses
• Collaboration with specialist departments, developers, and project teams
• Conducting workshops and knowledge transfer within the team

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable qualification
• Experience in planning, executing, and closing IT projects
• Several years of practical experience in software development (especially backend) and quality assurance
• Experience in the architecture and documentation of AI systems
• Knowledge in the field of Machine Learning, neural networks, and/or generative AI (e.g., fine-tuning of language models)
• Practical experience with database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, vector databases)
• Experience with version control (e.g., Git)
• Ideally, project experience in the public sector, especially in authorities or regulated environments
• Experience in AI projects (e.g., data processing or model training)
• Certifications in Artificial Intelligence (e.g., CAIS, ARTIBA, Azure AI Engineer, NVIDIA or Intel)
• Knowledge of container and platform technologies (e.g., OpenShift)
• Analytical thinking and structured way of working
• Interest in new technologies and research
• Ability to communicate complex topics understandably
• Teamwork and personal responsibility
