We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Senior AI Data Engineer to enhance our Telecom Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environment and contribute to the development of AI-enabled data products. In this role, you will merge modern data engineering practices with AI/ML applications, ensuring both the reliability of our core data platform and the creation of an intuitive self-service analytics portal for business users.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in data ingestion, transformation, quality assurance, and modeling within a modern cloud infrastructure (including tools such as FiveTran, Snowflake, Matillion, Tableau, Secoda). You should also possess hands-on technical skills in programming languages such as Python and Spark, as well as web frameworks like React.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Ingestion & Integration: Design, implement, and manage automated data ingestion pipelines using FiveTran and various ETL/ELT tools. Integrate data from multiple telecom systems (OSS/BSS, CRM, billing, network systems) into Snowflake, while ensuring scalability and reliability to meet business SLAs.
• Data Transformation & Modeling: Develop and optimize ELT pipelines using Matillion, focusing on efficient data transformations within Snowflake. Build and maintain comprehensive data models to support reporting, analytics, and AI/ML initiatives.
• Data Quality & Governance: Implement robust data validation and quality checks to guarantee data accuracy and timeliness. Collaborate with data governance teams to maintain metadata and documentation.
• AI-Driven Data Product Development: Play a pivotal role in designing and developing a self-service analytics platform for internal stakeholders, build APIs, and support front-end integrations to create a seamless user experience.
• Operations Engineering: Oversee daily operations of the EDW, including scheduling, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Analytics & Data Delivery: Partner with analysts and BI developers to facilitate data consumption through dashboards and applications.
• Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work closely with data architects and product teams to translate business needs into effective data and AI solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or data warehousing, particularly in the telecom industry.
• Deep understanding of data modeling techniques and quality frameworks.
• Strong SQL skills, along with proficiency in Python or bash scripting for automation.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficient in FiveTran, Snowflake, Matillion, Tableau, and Secoda or similar solutions.
• Familiarity with AI/ML deployments and event-driven architectures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a detailed and proactive approach.

Salary:

Pay range (commensurate with skills and experience): $115,000 - $130,000 Annual Salary.
