Senior AI Engineer – Generative Imaging

Role Description

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to lead the development of a production-grade generative AI image pipeline. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in diffusion-based models and experience building scalable, real-world systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end generative image pipelines for production use • Work with diffusion models to generate high-quality, controllable image outputs • Implement and optimise workflows for: Masking, inpainting, compositing, and image harmonisation • Develop and manage node-based pipelines (e.g., ComfyUI or similar frameworks) • Build scalable backend systems (APIs, pipelines, orchestration) • Ensure performance, reliability, and output quality in production environments • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into products

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with generative image models: • Stable Diffusion • ControlNet • LoRA (fine-tuning/customisation) • Proven experience in image editing workflows: Inpainting, masking, compositing, harmonisation • Experience with node-based or workflow orchestration tools (e.g., ComfyUI) • Solid programming skills in Python • Experience building production-grade systems: • APIs (e.g., FastAPI) • Scalable pipelines • Strong understanding of diffusion models and image generation techniques
