Senior AI Software Developer (80 – 100%)

About Us

We are looking for a Senior AI Software Developer (80-100%) starting immediately or by agreement.

In our newly established Data & AI team, you will develop Java-based software components and services for AI-powered functions. In close collaboration with our Data Scientists and other development teams at DV Bern, you will contribute to integrating robust and production-ready solutions into our products. You bring experience in data and AI topics and work along a modern development cycle through to successful deployment, operation, and maintenance of the software. You love varied work and are also happy to take on technical leadership for individual projects.

We Wish From You

• Experiences in backend development and a solid education in computer science (federal certificate/diploma, HF, FH, Uni or comparable)
• Many years of experience in agile software development (e.g., Java EE, JavaScript, web frameworks) as well as with modern software architectures, development methods, and strategies for testing and quality assurance
• Experience in the use of LLMs and generative AI in software development
• Realization and maintenance of complex software solutions with integrations of ML models into products and platforms
• Design and implementation of data-driven architectures, scalable APIs, and services for ML models
• German language skills at least at B2 level, written and spoken
• Strong initiative and high willingness to learn
• Competent and efficient approach to solving challenges
• Confident demeanor, responsible, resilient, and high-performing
