For our ICT team, at the Chiasso (CH) office, we are selecting a:

SENIOR A.I. SOFTWARE ENGINEER ( A.I. - Augmented Development)

Location: ON SITE - Chiasso - Canton Ticino, Switzerland

Goal: Lead the technological transition towards an "AI-First" development model, defining architectures, processes, and best practices based on the synergy between human talent and Generative AI tools (Cursor & Claude).

We are creating a new area dedicated to AI-powered software development and are looking for a technical leader capable of mastering its tools and designing its expansion.

We are seeking a Senior profile with a solid engineering foundation, who has already integrated Claude and Cursor into their professional DNA.

ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES

Architecture and Development:

• Design and implement scalable software solutions using Cursor and Claude to maximize delivery quality and speed.

Standard Definition:

• Define company guidelines for AI use in code (e.g., managing cursor rules, advanced prompt engineering, generated code validation).

Technical Leadership:

• Supervise the team's code quality, promoting AI-assisted refactoring and performance optimization.

Technological R&D:

• Constantly explore and test new models (Claude 3.5 Opus/Sonnet) and emerging tools to maintain DonTouch's competitive edge.

Mentoring & Growth:

• (Lead Perspective) Guide and train future AI-Development team members, instilling the "Augmented Developer" mindset.

ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Senior Experience: 5+ years of professional software development (Full Stack or Backend focus).

• Advanced AI Expertise:

  • Demonstrable ability to use Cursor (Composer, Indexing, Rules) and Claude to solve complex architectural problems, not just for small scripts.

• Engineering Competencies:

  • Solid knowledge of design patterns, microservices architectures, and database management (SQL/NoSQL).

• Technological Stack:

  • Proficiency in TypeScript / Node.js and/or Python.

• Lead Mindset:

  • Abstraction capabilities, strategic vision, and aptitude for managing complex projects.

NICE TO HAVE

• Previous experience in coordinating small technical teams or as a Technical Lead.
• Contributions to Open Source projects or technical publications related to AI applied to coding.
• In-depth knowledge of LLM Ops and vector API integration.

LANGUAGES

• ITALIAN: Mother tongue or fluent
• English: Professional (essential for comparing documentation and AI models)
