Responsibilities

• Take responsibility: You design and develop innovative AI projects that solve complex problems.
• Holistic support: You manage the entire lifecycle of AI applications – from evaluation and conception through development and deployment to production operation.
• Software development: You follow standard software development practices (version control, testing, DevOps), program conversational user interfaces, provide APIs for integration, and establish connections with other APIs.
• Use case evaluation: You identify and evaluate new AI use cases and integrate them into existing business processes.
• Teamwork: You work closely with data scientists, data engineers, and software developers to develop and scale AI solutions.
• Optimization: You evaluate and optimize existing AI models in terms of performance, scalability, accuracy, and security.
• Many opportunities: You have the chance to expand your expertise and apply your knowledge in various areas in projects. For example, if you are interested in infrastructure, you can contribute to optimizing cloud or on-premises infrastructure for AI workloads to ensure cost efficiency.

Requirements

• You have at least five years of professional experience in software development and practical experience in generative AI, machine learning, or data-driven projects.
• You are proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, Typescript, Go, and have experience with REST APIs and databases.
• You understand generative AI methodologies such as RAG, fine-tuning, agents, reasoning workflows, and more.
• You plan architecture and software proactively to ensure automation, stability, and maintainability.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure or AWS), data science, Kubernetes, or front-end development is an advantage.
• You are technically very interested, enjoy independently learning new technologies and tasks, and like to share your knowledge with colleagues.
• You are a team player and have good communication skills.
• Very good German and English skills (min. C1) for working in international teams and communicating with German-speaking clients.

Application Process

• It starts with a casual initial meeting with HR, where insights are provided, mutual expectations are clarified, and general questions are answered to create an initial general framework.
• A second meeting delves into technical depth; there may also be an assignment to complete. We discuss project workflows, client projects, technical requirements, etc. We will naturally involve a subject matter expert for support.
• In the final step, there is of course the opportunity to get an impression on-site at the respective locations and to get to know the team over a joint lunch. You will also meet the respective team leader and COO.
