For our client, a large company with complex, document-intensive business processes, we are looking for an AI-experienced personality at the interface of Document AI, Prompt Engineering, Input Management and Process Automation. The company is consistently driving its digital transformation forward and works strategically in the AI environment with one of the leading international tech companies. This gives the squad access to special technological resources, current AI expertise and an environment in which AI solutions with real business impact are implemented. The role is ideal for AI Engineers, Prompt Engineers or technology-oriented document management profiles who want to use AI not only technically but also more professionally and conceptually. You work closely with business processes, translate requirements into effective AI solutions and shape intelligent document processing on an operational scale.

Tasks

The focus is on concrete AI use cases with high relevance (e.g., around 8 to 10 million incoming emails including attachments per year are to be processed more intelligently with the help of AI and digital solutions).

Your tasks include:

• Development, evaluation and optimization of AI-supported solution approaches for document analysis, classification, extraction and routing
• Prompting and professional optimization of AI models in the context of intelligent document processing
• Conception of logics for document separation, data recognition and forwarding into downstream processes
• Analysis of model and process results for improvement of quality, efficiency, costs and stability
• Translation of professional requirements into features, user stories, test scenarios and production-near solution concepts
• Close collaboration with professional departments, IT, service providers and management in an agile squad structure
• Support of prototypes, tests and productive solutions
• Ensuring responsible AI use with regard to data protection, governance, bias and risks
• Support in building AI competence through sparring, workshops and knowledge transfer

Qualifications

You have experience with AI, prompting or AI-based automation solutions and want to use them more strongly in the professional context of document-based processes. Of particular importance are:

• Experience as an AI Engineer, Prompt Engineer, Data/ML-oriented profile or technology-savvy specialist in document management
• Practical relevance to AI applications, prompt engineering, LLMs, NLP or AI-supported document analysis
• Understanding of classification, extraction, document separation, routing and process automation
• Experience with Document AI solutions such as Google Document AI, Vertex AI or comparable platforms is an advantage
• Basic understanding of interfaces, APIs, cloud applications or system integration
• Interest in contributing technical AI expertise more strongly in a professional, conceptual and process-oriented manner
• Experience in document management, input management or workflow management is desirable
• Ability to structure complex requirements and translate them into implementable solution approaches
• Analytical strength, initiative and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
• Very good German language skills
