Be part of Acacia's innovative team as a Senior Analog IC Developer in Ottawa, with a hybrid work model. Engage in designing high-speed ICs for advanced optical communication technologies.
This hybrid position allows you to work three days a week from the Ottawa office, leveraging your expertise in analog design. You will play a pivotal role in a dynamic IC design group, focusing on high-speed ICs, ultra-deep sub-micron CMOS products, and mentoring team members. Collaborate closely with packaging and hardware design teams to ensure signal integrity throughout projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and simulate high-speed ICs across diverse applications
- Architect and productize ultra-deep sub-micron CMOS products
- Lead complex block designs and mentor junior engineers
- Participate in peer reviews of IC designs and provide methodologies
- Collaborate with teams to ensure specifications on signal integrity
Requirements
- Bachelor's + 8 years, Master's + 6 years, or Ph.D. + 3 years
- Experience with high-speed serial links and output drivers
- Proficient in equalization techniques and modeling requirements
- Familiar with Cadence software and layout validation
- Knowledge of lab validation techniques and electrical transceivers
