About the role

Role Overview: You will be responsible for strengthening the organization's financial governance, regulatory compliance, and strategic reporting capabilities in a complex regulatory and sustainability-driven environment. Your role involves ensuring accurate interpretation and implementation of accounting and regulatory updates, supporting financial risk management, enhancing the quality of annual reporting, and leveraging analytics and AI-driven tools to improve reporting efficiency and overall financial control maturity.

Key Responsibilities: - Maintain expert-level command of Ind AS / IFRS, US GAAP, ICAI guidelines, Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and other regulatory provisions. - Translate complex accounting updates into actionable business insights and assess their impact on the P&L, Balance Sheet, and disclosures. - Conduct peer-group analysis and industry benchmarking to ensure competitive and transparent financial disclosures and KPIs. - Coordinate and complete internal audits, statutory audits (IND AS), Corporate audits (USGAAP), IFC compliance, and other accounting and finance-related compliance. - Identify reporting risks and implement robust mitigation strategies to support the Financial Risk Management (FRM) & ERM framework. - Design, implement, and review standard operating procedures, internal financial controls, Risk Control Matrix, and approval matrix to ensure a robust governance framework. - Validate data and draft reports for Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting (BRSR) and stay ahead of evolving global ESG frameworks. - Ensure narrative consistency between financial and non-financial sections in the annual report. - Prepare high-impact presentations and briefing notes for Audit Committee and Board meetings. - Keep up to date with developments within the profession, organization, and industry.

Qualifications Required: - Proven working experience as Sr Analyst, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience. - Experience in SAP-based accounting and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. - Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations. - Ability to coordinate and monitor all types of finance-related audits (external and internal). - Exceptional communication and interpretation skills.
