Senior Analyst (Product Owner / Business Analyst)

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Product Support (Primary Focus)

• Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for system enhancements and rebuild initiatives
• Analyze current vs. future state functionality and define gaps
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams

Agile Delivery & Team Enablement

• Work closely with development teams to refine backlog, prioritize features, and support sprint planning
• Ensure stories are well-defined, estimated, and ready for development
• Support development lifecycle from scoping build testing production rollout
• Partner with QA and engineering to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered accurately

Stakeholder & Communication Management

• Facilitate communication between client stakeholders, internal teams, and business users
• Ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables
• Present requirements, updates, and solutions to various stakeholder levels

Testing, Release & Support

• Support UAT, training, and product support teams
• Validate that delivered functionality meets business requirements and expectations
• Assist with production releases and post-launch evaluation

Operational & Process Improvement

• Identify gaps in processes, workflows, and system functionality
• Recommend improvements to support efficient delivery and business operations
• Proactively track and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Product Owner / Senior Analyst
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and collaboration tools (e.g., MIRO)
• Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts and system workflows
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SQL or data analysis tools
• Background in registration, licensing, insurance, or financial services systems
• Experience working on system modernization or rebuild projects
