Our first product, the Corsano CardioWatch 287, is an essential part of a cardiac arrhythmia screening system that can, by providing a simple and effective method for continuous monitoring of the wearers heart rhythm, help identify the risk of a heart attack in an early phase. In its most extended version, the system consists of a bracelet plus a dedicated app on the wearer’s smartphone. The system can assist the user with maintaining a healthy lifestyle by providing immediate feedback on activity, sleep and heart rhythm data, plus it provides relevant data for timely identification of heart rhythm anomalies.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Senior Android Developer for our Kotlin Health Applications and SDK. Help us improve our Bluetooth 5 engine in Kotlin apps. Improve robustness of the applications and add new features. We build our Mobile SDK with the newest frameworks, some cutting edge technologies and integrate that with our client native apps. This position is involved in processing health information.

In the role as Kotlin Mobile Application Developer you will be a member of the mobile development team. You will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Kotlin platform.

You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Moreover, you will be responsible for unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

Your Impact

• Create exciting Kotlin applications connected via Bluetooth 5.0 to wearables

• Improve and maintain our Kotlin applications and SDK

• Contribute to codebase maintenance and optimization

· Work with team developers on-site and off-site

• Create technical specification for off-site developers and follow-up

• Follow latest technologies and changes to keep the platform up to date

Minimum Qualifications

• MSc in Computer Science

• Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 5.0

• Strong analytical skills

• 5 years mobile development in Kotlin

• High quality code and knowledge of best practices

• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle

• Experience with multi-threading programming

• Secure coding, apply security measures, (basic) knowledge about ISO27001

• Ability to take responsibility for the implementation, quality and maintenance of new and existing features

• Clear communication skills and an ability to work well with others

Best Fit

• Proven experience with Bluetooth Low Energy version 5.0

• Secure BLE communications

• Proven experience consuming RESTFul JSON API

• Testing and continuous integration experience
