A skilled Android Engineer is sought for a long-term contract supporting enterprise-scale mobile application development for a globally recognised organisation in Limerick. The successful candidate will contribute to the creation of high-traffic applications used by both consumers and business users.

The development team is preparing to begin a substantial multi-year initiative focused on enhancing an Android platform that integrates heavily with core enterprise infrastructure. This position offers the chance to work on a large-scale mobile transformation programme within a complex technical environment.

Requirements

• Strong background in Android software engineering with experience delivering large-scale business applications and contributing technical expertise across teams.
• Advanced knowledge of Kotlin and contemporary Android development frameworks and practices.
• Ability to advise on Android engineering standards, including CI/CD, testing strategies, tooling, and release management.
• Exposure to regulated or compliance-driven sectors would be advantageous.
